Yolanda R. Cato - Teacher of the Year
We know how amazing teachers are, and we want to help celebrate their victories. The Alford family has a long tradition of producing awesome teachers and Yolanda Cato is no exception. This year she was selected as Millwood Arts Academy in Oklahoma City, Teacher of the Year. This University of Central Oklahoma alum has a track record of being recognized as among the best in her profession. On May 6, 2019, she was recognized as the 2018-2019 District Teacher of the Year for all Millwood Schools. Family let’s all thank her for the hard work, dedication and commitment to educating students.
Yolanda R. Cato is the daughter of Bennie Cato and Bernadine Patton-Cato; Granddaughter of Elizabeth Alford-Patton; G/Granddaughter of James Willie Alford; and G/G/Granddaughter of Lafayette Alford.
