Mourning Aki Mahammad James Madison, Sr.
In Loving Memory of Aki Mahammad James Madison, Sr.
The Alford family mourns the profound loss of Aki Mahammad James Madison, Sr., who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 41, following a lengthy illness.
Aki was born on September 7, 1983, in Oklahoma City, OK, as the youngest son of Jamie D. Davis and James Keith Pittman. He attended Western Heights High School and later pursued a career in the construction industry, where he was known for his dedication and skill. Aki had a deep love for motorcycles, which brought him joy and a sense of freedom. Tragically, this passion led to a life-altering accident that left him debilitated, yet he remained resilient in facing life’s challenges.
A man of many interests, Aki had an enduring love for sports and music. However, his greatest source of pride and happiness came from the time he spent with his beloved family. He found immeasurable joy in the presence of his children, who were the light of his life.
Aki was preceded in death by his grandparents, Audrie A. Colbert-Heath and James A. Madison; his uncles, Chauncey D. Madison and Michael A. Madison; and his godfather, Arthur Miller.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with those who survive him: his devoted parents, Jamie D. Davis & Joseph Davis and James Keith Pittman; his daughters, Za’Nyia Nikole Madison, Paityn Brielle Madison, and Loyalty Akilyn Faith Madison; his sons, Anthony Dewayne Madison, Christian De’Shon Madison, Aki Mahammad James Madison Jr., and Dacoldes James Lee Madison; his sister, Glendalynn Deshon Madison; and his brother, James Keith Madison. Aki is also survived by his loving aunts, Sherry Madison, Lonetta Lawrence-Rattler, Davone Madison, and Merdine A. Black; his uncle, Willie O. Alford (Jo Ann); and a host of cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
