Mourning Sharon D. Patton

It is with deep sadness that we share news of the passing of our loved one. Sharon D. Patton passed away on August 16, 2023 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Sharon was born in Weleetka, OK on April 13, 1950. She was a longtime resident of Oklahoma City and retired Case Manager with the Department of Human Services.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Mable Maxwell and Charlie Johnson. She was survived by her husband Elvis L. Patton, Sr.; daughters, Natasha Hill, Kim Patton and Tara Raposa; sons, Jeff Johnson and Elvis Patton, Jr.; sister, Marsha Witten; brother, Russell Maxwell; 12 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and treasured friends.

Visitation: Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 3pm-7pm

Services: Friday, August 25, 2023 at 12pm Redeemed Missionary Baptist Church 2122 Drinkwater Drive Oklahoma City, OK 73111

Internment: Fairlawn Cemetery Weleetka, OK

Sharon D. Patton is the wife of Elvis L. Patton, Sr. Elvis is the son of Elizabeth Alford-Patton & Johnny Patton; Grandson of James Willie Alford & Lydia Thibodeaux-Alford; and Great-Grandson of Lafayette “Fate” Alford & Martha Griffiths-Alford.
